Prometric Exam Pass Scores for Every GCC Authority (2026)
What score do you actually need to pass the DHA, SCFHS, DOH, QCHP, NHRA and OMSB Prometric exams? Pass marks, question counts and durations for every GCC regulator in one table.
"What's the pass score?" is the first question every candidate asks — and the answer varies by authority and title level. Here's the consolidated picture for 2026.
Pass scores at a glance
| Authority | Questions | Duration | Pass benchmark |
|---|---|---|---|
| DHA (Dubai) | 150 | 3 hrs | ~60%, title-dependent |
| DOH (Abu Dhabi) | 100–150 | 2–3 hrs | ~60%, title-dependent |
| MOHAP (N. Emirates) | 100–150 | 2–3 hrs | ~60% |
| SCFHS (Saudi) | 150–200 | 3 hrs | ~60%, classification-specific |
| QCHP (Qatar) | 100–150 | 2–3 hrs | ~60% |
| NHRA (Bahrain) | 100–150 | 2–3 hrs | ~60% |
| OMSB (Oman) | 100–150 | 2–3 hrs | ~60% |
Authorities adjust cut-offs by title level and periodically re-standardise. Treat 60% as the floor — and prepare for 75%+.
Why "aim for the pass score" is bad strategy
Exam-day performance drops 5–10% versus practice for almost everyone — nerves, unfamiliar phrasing, fatigue in hour three. Candidates who consistently score 65% in mocks fail real exams regularly. Our working rule: don't book Prometric until your full-length mock scores sit at 75% or higher.
Is there negative marking?
No GCC authority currently applies negative marking on these MCQ papers. Never leave a question blank — an educated guess has a 25% floor; a blank has zero.
How results work
The result appears on screen immediately after submission at the Prometric centre, and the authority updates your file within days. A pass unlocks the next licensing step (registration / licence issuance); a fail starts the retake clock — typically around 3 months.
Prepare properly
Practise with chapter-wise banks and full-length timed mocks aligned to your authority's blueprint, and read the complete Prometric guide for booking, centres and exam-day rules.
