Frequently Asked

Quick clarifications

About DHA tiers, exam exemptions, and what happens next.

Which authorities does this cover?+

All 7 GCC medical licensing authorities: DHA (Dubai), DOH (Abu Dhabi), MOHAP (Northern Emirates), SCFHS (Saudi Arabia), QCHP (Qatar), NHRA (Bahrain), and OMSB (Oman). You get a per-authority verdict for each.

What are certificate tiers and why do they matter?+

GCC authorities classify recognized specialty certificates into three tiers. Tier 1 (highest, e.g. Royal College Fellowship, Specialty Board) usually grants Consultant title without exam. Tier 2 covers main specialist diplomas — often exam-exempt for Specialist title. Tier 3 (residency completion, equivalent) qualifies you for Specialist title but requires the licensing exam.

I don't have a recognized specialty certificate — am I still eligible?+

Yes — you can still apply as General Practitioner (Physicians/Dentists) or in your entry-level category. You'll need to pass the relevant licensing exam, which we have full practice banks for.

Is this assessment legally binding?+

No — this is a guidance tool based on each authority's published manual. The final decision rests with each licensing body. Book a free consultation with our team for a confirmed personalised pathway.

What happens after I get my result?+
