Founded in 2015 to fix one badly broken process
Getting licensed in the Gulf is not one process, it is seven. Every authority - DHA, DOH, MOHAP, SCFHS, QCHP, NHRA and OMSB - keeps its own eligibility rules, its own document set and its own exam. A cardiologist in Lahore or a staff nurse in Manila has no reliable way to find out which of them will accept their degree, and the cost of guessing wrong is a rejected file and a lost year.
First Medical Consultancy was set up in Dubai in 2015 to sit on the candidate's side of that process. We check eligibility before any money is spent, run Dataflow primary source verification, prepare the candidate for the Prometric exam with banks built from the published blueprints, and carry the file through to the licence and, where the candidate wants it, to a hospital offer.
Today the team works from two offices, Business Bay in Dubai and Hainault in the United Kingdom, and covers doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals across all six GCC states.

The two businesses split the market rather than compete over it: Care Bridge handles Tier 1 hospital recruitment and employer-side mandates, while First Medical Consultancy works for the individual professional across every tier, from the first eligibility check to the licence in hand.
In practice that means a candidate who licenses with us is already visible to the group's employer network, and does not have to start again with a recruiter once the licence arrives.
